Support & guide
Get a useful task report.
Task Focus is preparing for Marketplace review. The guide describes the current application; public installation is not yet available.
Open a report
- After an administrator installs Task Focus, open a Confluence space you can access.
- In the sidebar, expand Space apps and open Task Focus.
- Start with All open tasks. Use the Show menu to focus on overdue tasks, due today, no assignee, no due date or completed tasks.
- Search task text or a page/blog ID. Choose Open page or Open blog to return to the source and edit the task there.
What the report includes
Native Confluence tasks in the current space that the viewing account can read. It does not aggregate across spaces or read Jira issues. Due dates are classified using the viewer’s browser timezone; an open task due today becomes overdue after that local day ends. Completed tasks remain completed.
The scan stops after 20 API pages, with up to 100 results per page. If more results exist, a partial-report notice is shown. Loaded totals must not be treated as complete when that notice appears.
Troubleshooting
- Empty report: select All tasks and clear search. Confirm the source contains native Confluence tasks and that you can view it.
- Access or API error: check space/page access, then select Refresh tasks. Failed refreshes clear the previous report.
- License required: ask the site administrator to check the Task Focus subscription or trial.
- Rate limit: wait and retry. The app does not silently treat a failed request as a complete report.
